Discharge clearance
Every department is asked at once when discharge starts. Each clears its part with one action; the family is told each step in CBS Care.
Patients in discharge
| Admission | Ward and bed | Waiting | Cleared | Summary | Bill | Departments | Release |
|---|
No patient is in discharge right now. When the ward starts a discharge (DK-18), every department's clearance appears here at once.
Nothing is waiting for this department or ward. Clear the filters to see every patient in discharge.
Which departments clear a discharge
Suggested: all nine. The theatre is asked only when the stay had a procedure. The administrator decides; changes apply to discharges started afterwards.
The suggested defaults are in use; nothing has been changed yet.
Only the administrator can change these.
Time to discharge
For each discharge started in the period: started, bill ready, left. Medians and the slowest department are worked out from the record; nothing is typed in.
| Department | Discharges cleared | Median minutes | Slowest in |
|---|
| Admission | Started | To bill, minutes | To leaving, minutes | Slowest department |
|---|
No discharge was started in this period, so there is nothing to measure yet.
The report is the administrator's.
What the family is told
At each step - discharge started, doctor approved, every department cleared, bill ready, summary ready, you may leave - the patient and their attendants get a notice in CBS Care and a short text. It never carries a diagnosis or an amount.
