Room rates
A daily rate for each ward type, or for one bed, from a date. Room rent posts itself to an in-patient bill from these rates.
How room days are counted
Every calendar day the patient holds a bed is one day, starting with the admission day. The discharge day is not counted (the default). A same-day stay is one day. Each day is charged at the bed held at the day's end.
This hospital counts the discharge day as well.
Change this on Tariff and charges (DK-114).

Ward types without a rate
Every ward type in use has a rate.
Add a rate or a new rate
A later date records a new rate from that date; the earlier rate stays on record and on old bills.
Post room rent to a bill
Type the bill number of an in-patient bill. Posting again replaces the room lines; it never adds them twice.
